Error 601 may be returned from BSETUP.NLM on a NetWare 4.x server running NDS when the login object name and password are entered under "Set Directory Services". To avoid a 601 error the following must all be true: - The bindery context must be set for the container of the Btrieve server. - The login object name must exist within the container of the Btrieve server. - The login object name must have full rights to create the Btrieve object within the Tree container. - The bindery context statement must contain the context of the Btrieve object first in its list.
